Complaints & Charging Policy

If you have a complaint related to the school, the best advice is to come and talk to the relevant member of staff and if necessary the Headteacher. Alternatively you may prefer to put your concerns in a letter. Most problems can be resolved in this way. Parents also have the option of contacting the Chair of Governors, Lynsey Simpkin. Contact details can be obtained from the office.

Charging Policy

Whilst the 1986 Education Act does not allow certain activities to be charged for, the school asks for parents to make voluntary contributions for swimming, school visits and craft. If voluntary contributions are not adequate then the activity may not be financially viable. Parents in receipt of income support may speak to the Headteacher confidentially to obtain any help available.
